Our story
Running Postman Coffee Roasters was inspired by life in WA’s South West, the coastline, the bush, the small towns, and the little things that make this part of the world feel like home.
Named after the native wildflower Kennedia prostrata, known as Running Postman, the brand draws from a bright red creeper that quietly winds its way through the local landscape. The ‘Postie’ character reflects connection, reliability, familiar routines, and a laid-back sense of fun.
It all started with two mates who love coffee and the culture that comes with it, early mornings, weekend catch-ups, local cafés, and the conversations that seem to happen naturally over a good brew.
After plenty of long blacks and late night ideas, Running Postman slowly took shape. What began as a simple concept turned into an obsession with getting the details right, refining blends, designing bags, testing coffees on friends and family, and building something that genuinely feels local.
We take the coffee seriously, but ourselves slightly less so. That’s the culture we want Running Postman to reflect.
Thanks for coming along for the ride.
