Our story
Running Postman Coffee Roasters was inspired by the South West. The coastline, the bush, the small towns, and the little things that make this part of WA feel like home.
Named after the native wildflower Kennedia prostrata, known as Running Postman, a bright red creeper that quietly winds its way through the local landscape, the ‘Postie’ character channels connection, reliability, familiar routines, and a laid-back sense of fun.
It all started with two mates who love coffee and the culture that comes with it. Early mornings, weekend catch-ups, local cafés, and the conversations that seem to happen over a good brew.
After plenty of long blacks and late-night ideas, Running Postman slowly came to life. What began as a simple concept became an obsession with getting the details right. Refining blends, designing bags, testing coffees on friends and family, and building something that genuinely feels local.
We take the coffee seriously, but ourselves slightly less so. That’s the kind of culture we want Running Postman to reflect.
Thanks for coming along for the ride.
